" I thank my God for all of you..."

I am a young woman who is learning to trust God and every time a begin to doubt Him I am blown away with faithfulness and how much more I should be trusting Him. Have you ever looked at yourself and just laughed? I have been doing that lately, laughing at myself for how self obsessed and shallow I am sometimes. I have the Almighty, Creator God as my Savior and I have the nerve to think that He can not make things happen when He wants them to happen.
So about a month ago I questioned God on where my financial support was going to come from and almost thought that it was not going to come. God is FAITHFUL!!!! About a week before I had to have 75% of my support I was only at about 32% of it and had no clue on how I was supposed to get $6,000 in a week. God is FAITHFUL!!! I spoke to my church and just let them know the need and a week later I had met my 75%. The week after that I had met 100% of my support and currently I am set to go with financial support. God is FAITHFUL!!! In most of Paul's letters he begins them with "I thank my God for all of you..." . I use that phrase for ever single one of you reading this blog. I thank my amazing, Creator God for you. Thank you for your prayers and your financial support. I showed you a need and you showed God to me by listening and answering. THANK YOU!!!
In 11 days I leave for New York where I will train for my adventure and then leave for Africa on the August 26. I should arrive in Uganda on August 28 and arrive in Torit, Sudan on September 1. I will begin language training in Torit and then travel to Goli to begin my teaching experience.
These last couple of months have taught me to be thankful in all things. God has been so faithful and is intricately working out His plan. He is making it very evident that I am going in the right direction and it so awesome to see His power be made evident. Thank you all so much for your support!

  1. I'm praying for you Danielle. Have a safe trip.

FYI, I asked you about RSS feeds the other day, and blogspot does provide them. So I don't show up as a follower of your blog, but your updates show up on my Yahoo page. Just wanted to let you know that there are more people following your "African Discoveries" than what it appears.
